
Why your bathroom heater keeps breaking (and how we fixed it)

Most heaters fail for one simple reason: they can’t handle the shock. Imagine a quartz tube running at full blast. It’s scorching. It means we’ve sealed the guts of the machine so dust and water jets can’t get inside. We focus heavily on the wiring terminals and the housing seals because that’s where the real trouble starts. If steam creeps into the electrical contacts, you get a short circuit. Period. Our enclosure keeps the electricity and the water in two completely different worlds. Now, nothing is perfect. There is a bit of a trade-off here. Because we’ve sealed everything so tightly to keep the water out, some of that heat stays trapped around the internal wiring. It’s a small price to pay for safety, but it means you have to make sure whatever you’re mounting the heater to can handle the heat. You don’t want your wall or fixture warping over time. We built these for the tough spots—the places where a cheap heater would give up the ghost in a few months. By pairing that IP55 seal with toughened quartz, you don’t have to worry about glass shards or electrical sparks while you’re in the shower. It’s just better materials and smarter sealing.
