It pairs a high-intensity halogen lamp with a built-in fan, so you get directional infrared heat that hits the target fast, while the airflow keeps the lamp itself from running too hot.
What makes it tick
Here’s the thing: it’s built around a 300mm tube, so the footprint stays small. It slips into tight spots without giving up output. It runs on 400V, which keeps the current draw lower. That means you can run longer cables with thinner wire than you’d need with a 230V unit of the same wattage. And at 2500W, it delivers serious heat density. Ramp-up is quick—great when you’re heating mold surfaces, pipes, or preheat zones.
Materials and the way it’s put together
We chose a quartz halogen tube because it handles rapid on/off cycling without complaining, and it holds steady output as the filament comes up to temperature. The reflector coating is there to push infrared energy forward, so more of the heat lands where you aim it—instead of just warming up the housing around it. And the R7s connector? It’s a straightforward industrial interface. Swap the tube by sliding it in and locking it. No extra sockets. No adapters. Just done.
